Instructions - Simple St. Anne's Layout

The simple St. Anne's layout features larger buttons for easier touch control and 18 Master General buttons with Up and Down stepper buttons implemented in MDP. Other functions can be added including control by external pistons or switches.

Follow the video below for details on setting up HW and MidiDesigner Pro for the simple St. Anne's layout. It is based on using a Mac, but by following the Configuration for PC in Chapter 3 of the MidiDesigner Pro manual, it should work on a PC (I have a PC to test with if necessary).

Tips

  • I currently use a Magic Mouse with a Mac. I have found that when moving the mouse over multi-selectable items while Auto-Detecting, the selection changes. Be careful when moving your mouse not to move over a selectable item. Usually this is caught when verifying the selections.

  • When completed, make a backup copy of HW.
